Comfy bed in the twin room, plus an electronic key card, a work desk, and cable TV. Very good breakfasts with tasty coffee, quiet atmosphere. Convenient and stunning location for Lucerne, just off the museums as well as the central station of Luzern.

location: the hotel was close enough to the littau train/bus station, the centre of lucerne in a pleasant suburb called littau which has a good, reasonably priced pizzeria called ambiente, and germany.

The hotel itself was clean and appeared well-run. Our bedroom was very clean, and most comfortable. We thought the shower was fantastic.
Two issues: a) The room (303) badly needs air conditioning. We thought it bizarre that the public areas - bar, dining room, reception, even corridors - had air-con, but not the actual bedrooms themselves. b) The noise from the road was terrible - particularly as we had to leave the bedroom window open due to not having air conditioning. It's like the road surface and the building opposite the hotel cause the vehicles' tyres to sound like they are in a tunnel. air-con please!!

I had difficulty due to the noise from the busy road, hard to sleep. The storage space in the room was quite limited. Despite the hotel being a short walk from the train station, it was not very convenient, especially with heavy luggage.
